💡 English Meaning
This collection contains three beloved Ganesh aartis sung across India:
JAI GANESH JAI GANESH DEVA: We praise Lord Ganesha, son of Parvati and Mahadev. He has one tusk, four arms, sindoor on His forehead, and rides a mouse. Devotees offer betel, flowers, dry fruits and laddus. He grants sight to the blind, health to the diseased, sons to the childless, and wealth to the poor. Surdas seeks His refuge — O son of Shambhu, protect the honor of the humble and fulfill all wishes.
SUKHKARTA DUKHHARTA (Marathi): He removes sorrows and obstacles, His body adorned with sindoor, a pearl necklace at His throat. O Mangal Murti — just seeing You fulfills all desires. Jewel-studded crown, sandalwood paste, anklets jingling at His feet. Large-bellied, wearing yellow silk, worshipped by serpents — three-eyed Vakratunda. Protect us in calamity, O lord worshipped by gods.
SHENDUR LAAL CHADAYO: Red sindoor adorns the elephant-faced one, large-bellied son of Gauri and Har. He holds jaggery and laddus, His glory beyond description. Eight siddhis serve Him, He destroys obstacles. His radiance equals millions of suns, moon-like beauty on His temples. Whoever comes with devotion receives children, wealth, and abundance in full. Gosavi Nandan sings His glory day and night.
