Ruby (Manik/माणिक्य) is the gemstone of the Sun — the king of the nine planetary gems (Navaratna). It is a red-colored precious stone from the Corundum mineral family, prized for boosting confidence, leadership, and vitality.
Who should wear Ruby: People with weak or afflicted Sun in their birth chart, Leo (Simha) ascendant natives, those in leadership positions, government employees, and anyone seeking confidence and authority. Ruby is particularly beneficial when the Sun is the Lagna lord or Yogakaraka.
