How this muhurta is determined
The sanskar's heart is the showing of the world to the child: sun-darshan (the fourth month's naming in some texts) and moon-darshan, the elders carrying the baby to see both. A clear morning in a Shubh Choghadiya, the child's face east, is the classical staging.
Modern life takes newborns out far earlier for clinic visits — the tradition does not fight this. Nishkramana is the FORMAL first outing, the one with grandparents and the good shawl; medical trips before it carry no muhurta weight at all.
Eclipse days are the one absolute: no first outing, and traditionally no outing at all for the very young, on a grahan day. The dates below exclude them automatically.
