How this muhurta is determined
Renters move far more often than owners buy, and the tradition scales accordingly: for a rented house the non-negotiables are few — no Panchak (moving and bed-setting are its two most cited prohibitions), no Bhadra at the hour of entry, no Amavasya — and the rest is preference toward good tithis and stars.

My lease starts mid-Panchak. What should I do?
Take the keys and even shift luggage — but delay the formal FIRST ENTRY (kalash, family, kitchen) and the setting of beds until Panchak ends. Possession and muhurta-entry are allowed to be different days.
